You forget that resin theory still had the Nika part right and guessed there was a fruit name change for the gomu gomu no mi, even though it wasn't resin. It was still half a W. Here, I'm not guessing a fruit, it's simpler than that and with much more evidence. Resin had 0 evidence, it was wild guesses on number pattern and "liquid state" which wasn't liquid at all. Im being Lili is founded on strong mythological facts and on actual panels supporting the theory.

OP fans arent very smart,they see Imu a character whose identity is a mystery then lily who was recently introduced so they just assumed that im is lily
