This is based off nothing. Oda is more comfortable having Big Mom straight up lose to rookies than even make Rayleigh look inferior to a Yonkou in the same scene. We need to see Ray struggle before we start saying he's losing to BM of all characters.

Why are we still using these rookie arguments lol, you realize that Kaido, the admirals, the Gorosei, and Imu himself will lose to rookies, right?

The worstgen will surpass the old gen in no time, current Luffy at his peak strength is most likely already stronger than prime Ray. Peak performance Luffy is ~ peak performance Kaido.

The whole ZvS skirmish in old era clothes has grown stale by now.
Having said that, I can see people weave an argument out of the fact that Gaban, Shanks, and Loki are being equated with Roger and Garp in taking down what is basically the same character, powerlevel-wise, Xebec/Harald.

Sure Ray has been said to be Gaban's peer, but on panel Ray hasn't done anything, while Gaban is necessary to take down the king of giants.

Some fans only see fights as mathematical elements for their power scaling agendas.

If DR Xebec = DR Harald
and if GV Roger = GV Garp
and if Roger + Garp = Xebec
now that we get Shanks + Gaban + Loki = Harald
depending on each of the three's output, we could say that
Flashback Shanks/Flashback Gaban/Flashback Loki = 1/3 Roger+Garp
