- Oda tells us that Kuma knows about Nika, the drums of liberation, and has waited for him his whole life

When you follow everything that Oda has been saying and doing with Kuma and the ancient robot, it is safe to jump to that conclusion

We must wait for confirmation of course but it seems to be blatantly obvious.

Next chapter the ancient robot (Kuma's consciousness) may stand up because of Nika's drums again and go save Bonney.
