-Lucci is confirmed to have Conquerors Coating and he held back Vs Luffy
-Lucci says that strawhat was lucky he ran away because the hits he did on Lucci were mosquito bites level.

You're 100% on the money here. The level of the wank hasn't changed. It's just we're getting towards the final arc and Luffy's big picture connections are revealed. Some folks are having PTSD from other manga where the MC is tied to an ancient deity. But those fears should've dispelled when Oda literally made Luffy's "legendary" awakening is him turning into an exaggerated version of what he always was. He's always embodied Joy Boy's spirit, flighting ridiculously putting smiles on reader's faces. I could get a million examples before his awakening. It didn't really change anything.
