I used to be on the idea of Blackbeard defeating Shanks but after finding out how much of a huge fan Oda is when it comes to Shanks, I'm starting to think he probably won't do that Blackbeard vs Shanks fight.

Oh and I don't think Oda will off screen Shanks's defeat especially not without seeing more of Shanks and his crew in action.
