I've been reading since Chapter 903 (started reading the Manga after I caught up to the anime in Whole Cake and the chapter I ended on happened to be right before Reverie, it was crazy back then. So, that was May 2, 2018. Nearly 6 years for me. I watched the anime 4KIDS dub when I was a kid, but, I stopped before that ended, and then figured I'd watch the series later, once it got another adaptation or finished in Japan.

Welp.

Eventually I saw a decent amount of clips, and decided, fuck it, I have nothing to do, might as well.

I don't know if you guys started the anime with Crunchyroll straight away, or you witnessed the Kaizoku fansubs greatness. Absolute legends. They carried the OP fandom back when it was the ugly duckling of Shonen. Naruto, Bleach and Fairy Tail fans were killing us back then

I was around 13 when I started and had only been living in the US for around 3 years or less. I started watching with Spanish subtitles but I don’t remember who made them.

My OP journey began in 2008. My best friend gifted me Volume 2: Buggy the Clown, for my 9th birthday. That was around the time the manga was at Thriller Bark so it took me 2 years to catch up and got through Marineford without being spoiled.

I think that's close to 16 years now?
