Perhaps it's a coincidence.
In any case, I like it. It's funny and wholesome to see them all bonding over it.

I have noticed that a lot of my fellow Kingdom enjoyers are also Admiral fans. Not all, but many WG Kingdom fans also stan the Admirals.

Kingdom discussions, with the exception of anything Earl Shi or Bananji related are usually pretty excellent. One Piece discussions are the source of brain cancer. Lol

The peak mangas usually have a certain problem with hiatuses.
Yu Yu Hakusho and HxH get hiatuses and what not because Togashi has poor health and what not
Berserk was on hiatus for a while after Miura's untimely passing (dude died ridiculously young especially for Japanese standards, I really feel bad for him, honestly)
Vagabond is on hiatus
Etc.

I think in Inoue's case it's because he needed time to rest with his wife and children.

Furthermore, Vagabond is a philosophical manga and for you to write a philosophical manga, you need to become a philosopher.

I watched an interview with Inoue some time ago, and during the illustration process, he couldn't have time to do what he really wanted and ended up delivering an "okay" work according to him.

Mangas like Vagabond are difficult to write.

(Not baiting) Kingdom gave me a new perspective on the Admirals.

Also, Agenda Piece blinded me about the Admirals/Navy/WG
- Akainu dealing with an entire Yonkou crew and giving PTSD to the MC
- Kizaru nerfing himself and literally toying with Goofy.
- Kuzan soloing BBPs and growing Top Tier Haki feats.
- Aramaki dogwalking Weeble and soloing Scabbards and Lamato easily.
- Gorosei looking more cool and impressive than Yonkous
- Koby showing better Haki feats than 80% of OP verse

These are feats can't be ignored just because agendas wars.

One Piss is a troll manga written for 12 year olds, Kingdom is high art.

For the most part. Kingdom isn’t perfect but it is the best manga of all time. Only Berserk while Miura was alive could compete with it.

Nah, you should give Kingdom a chance. Hara (the mangaka) doesn’t portray Qin as the good guys during their most famous atrocities. In fact Qin’s enemies are portrayed as “good guys” far more than Qin itself for the most part.

Many mangaka write manga where the protagonists are almost like villains in their own stories, and Kingdom is definitely self aware of this and highlights many of why Qin’s atrocities were wrong and self-destructive to their own causes.

To note, I am not against morally ambitious stories, as honestly, all seven states were militant monarchies who would have gladly crushed the other six for absolute domination of China.
