Gorosei are different breed of Racist.
They would know right away watching Saturn being less Racist.

I only see sense in Saturn dying if it is Imu's will, perhaps he is connected to all the gorosei, so perhaps the source of their immortality is Imu. If Imu was disappointed with Saturn, perhaps he took away his immortality.
