I watched DB on TV up until Ma Piccolo's death. Then I moved countries, a couple of years went by, and by mistake I stumbled upon an airing of the Cell Games. I had no idea what was going on. When I got access to Google, the whole SSJ# was like entering another world.

Honestly it’s fun for lore and if you like more natural modern Toriyama style comedy and adventure. Majin lore is interesting, designs meh

The turn off for me is 90-yr old Nozawa voice acting. She will always be the goat but watching old DB and GT and now her voice fell off. And I said this back when Super was airing too. She tries too hard for SS4 and serious Goku voice

Yeah, I can’t believe that she’s still working at that age. Their voice actors are really passionate lol
