I have been reading KB chapters.
But I avoid spoilers for Kb particularly.
The last chapter was fire. Samura's daughter is not push over. I have a hunch that Takeru is preparing next gen of swordsmen. Side characters have been interesting so far. Last 2 chapters imply that there is certainly a rat in organization. I just hope it is not Togo Shiba. But who else could have leaked such info, especially Rokuhira's location.
Right?! 80s art/culture has so much soul to it, so much heart put into it, it feels like the closest thing to a modern day renaissance. Could stretch into 90s too.
Yeah, I really hate how the industry became obsessed with "moe-ification" and thus I predicted and was right about the massive downfall of the anime and manga industries when it happened and thus its no surprise that it BLEW up so much in the world, the worser anime and manga got, the more degenerate the fanbase became openly and so did the anime and manga themselves too. A lot of stuff you'd only see in ecchi and hentai is becoming more mainstream, normalised and thus common and there's a ton of disturbing trends these days as I'm sure you've seen and know as well have had to bear witness to unfortunately ofc.
Ah nice, an artist who doesn't hate AI art, is it a miracle? LMAO! And to be fair, AI art is still better than what that absolutely irredeemable POS Butch Hartman has been doing too at least. But it does need to be constantly said that its "artificial" and thus unnatural, lacking in soul, heart and such ofc.
The whole controversy with the Ghibli AI slop atm and Miyazakis heartbreaking reaction to it naturally speaks volumes about why AI is so hated and justifiably so to be fair. There's even much worser reasons to hate how AI is being used but I'd have to mention current day politics and extremely controversial things, so I won't ofc. But to go back to Ghibli and Miyazaki, even Megumi Ishitani, the GODLY director of the best One Piece episodes and movie stuff has come out in FULL solidarity and defense of Miyazaki and she savagely called out people who have been making this AI slop with Ghibli and trying to trash on him and break his heart even further.
I LOVE AI for shitposting and enabling to do things I was NEVER able to do my whole life no matter how hard I tried BUT it should NEVER replace people and ruin the livelihoods and hard work of others, especially the ones who do it all completely naturally and thus put blood, sweat and tears into it, something that AI, computers will never be able to do.
(Although I've heard some things about them trying to make homunculi with AI technology and computing, 3D printing organs and growing them in labs, making artificial blood and such, so yaaaaaaayy humans just cant stop trying to play God after all, WHEEEEEEE! Bring on the Terminators!)
But yeah, post apocalyptical, cynical, despair-laden rants aside, I completely agree too. I wanted AI to help make it much easier to do the extremely time consuming, precision requiring, repetitive/tedious stuff with animation, drawing, programming and such. It should just be another tool like photoshop, cameras, paintbrushers or video editors or w/e, not a replacement for anything but just a supplement ofc. As you said, it can save so much money and thus enable us to do things that budget, time, a lack of manpower and such were preventing us from doing before but unfortunately the POS in charge are using AI in the worst ways possible as expected unsurprisingly and instead of cutting down on the most laborious work for us, the real toil and trouble, its being used to exploit and replace creative people and their work, which fucking sucks ofc. Not to mention the controversies of how the AI models are trained and thus the plagiarism and such ofc. Like digital parasitism.
Right?! Usopp looks so amazing here, I was floored when I saw him. It's so sad how muscular and genuinely manly and awesome Usopp looked at beginning of post TS and Oda has regressed him to be even weaker, more cowardly and far less competent, resilient and likeable then he was pre TS. He is WAY hated now than he ever was pre TS even after Water 7 too and I've never seen a character more brutally ruined than him in any series including other OP characters and thats saying something!
Oda really gave us so much false hope with him and its depressing. I am slowly becoming numb to how Oda is butchering his own characters out of sheer apathy/wilful negligence or spite.
Hilarious but unfortunately I see you getting horny for it sooner or later too especially if you imagine it making anime faces too /s.
Seriously though that expression is too funny.

Hehe, well tbf I'm a very on/off kinda artist. I don't have much pride in my skill currently because I'm very rusty.
I do handdrawn art as well, not digital, so at least I don't have to worry about people stealing or accusing my meagre work of being AI....for now.
Personally I'd like to use AI for stuff like creating fanfiction, or adapting existing books, stories, etc into animations.
That's the best creative use, allowing people to craft their vision in a more speedy and personalized way while saving effort.
Imagine taking all your daydreams and turning them into movies within a few days, that's what AI could do.
And the memes are peak too. Presidents rating waifus on YT using AI, Yasuke Simulator soubdtrack, TF2 SFM voice acting using 15.AI etc
But yeah people are gonna exploit it, and it'll be sucky as hell. Deviantart is already filled with it, and from what I hear the recent tarriffs from the USA were possibly calculated using LLMs lol.
And I didn't even know about the other stuff you mentioned damn.
For the moe-fication stuff you mentioned I don't mind that sort of thing but it needs to stick to its niche. That's the problem, when a genre gets too big and encroaching and makes its way everywhere.
Hell that's why I avoid western stuff. For its flaws anime still allows for some variety whereas a lot of recent western entertainment gives me a samey vibe.
Usopp suffers from the same issue as Jaune Arc from RWBY where he's the Normal One and is therefore not allowed to improve.
The reverse of this is the Batman effect where the normal member ends up being the most OP when the writers try to balance them out.
I feel sorry for the poor guy, he deserves better.
