Happens, I dropped this manga thrice already, halfway through Dressrosa, WCI and Wano. Just come back a year later if you are still interested. It's much more enjoyable to binge one piece than to read it weekly.

Probably because we still have no idea what the point of this arc is even after 20 chapters. Save the kids ? Then what ? Also how are 3 Gk going to stop a yonko crew and an entire island of giants + Gabban when they don't even have their leader with them. There are no stakes. We are having a flashback about Loki about something not even related to the plot while the "main villains" are doing their thing. How are we supposed to be scared of them when both them and Luffy are having BBQ in the middle of a dangerous situation.

Like for real, Oda will have to pull a really good reason for Shamrock to disappear right after showing up. Cause that kind of destroyed the rhythm of the arc. It was kinda hype at that point.
