It's just not fun without the story itself being good or hype for me. More than half the interest for me is driven by the villains. Two of the future groups ain't giving me the energy.
Say what you want about Kaido, but the dude's intro against Kid and the one shot by post WCI Luffy was one mad hype. And at the time, dude used to go around philosophical rants that implied there was some great narrative/backstory waiting for him (LOL).
Things haven't been the same since disaster of Wano. I still haven't read last quarter of Egghead, and most of Elbaph till now. I read spoiler summary, see it's mid, and just skip the chapter all together.
I've seen this story before, agenda can only carry so far. Interest Fairy Tail completely collapsed amongst it's readers for example, even tho it had strong agenda wars in it's own right, cause there is only so much BS one can tolerate before losing all interest.
