Let's stick to the manga canon where Kizaru made Luffy shit his pants.

We don't need to lie to put Kaidou or Luffy down, Kizaru singlehandedly embarrassed Luffy more than anyone ever has. I still don't think people have grasped what happened, Kizaru had to ACT like a Yonkou could stalemate him. Let me repeat that, Kizaru basically pulled a Fujitora vs Sabo in Dressrosa and he had to sell this notion to Saturn that Luffy was capable of stalemating him when in reality the dude was up and ready to fight...the only difference between Luffy and Sabo was that Luffy was a Yonkou so a Yonkou and an Admiral stalemating was a lot more believable so everyone bought it. But holy shit how strong is Kizaru actually, that he needs to fake being in a stalemate with Luffy??
Idk wtf Oda was doing drawing this but it really hammers home the point that Kizaru must really be close to Akainu for Oda to go this far, that Akainu vs Luffy is in the books and Luffy was still not ready despite becoming a Yonkou.

It's more than a fair tradeoff since Oda drew Luffy only able to land a single attack on him going from Base - G4 - and an entire stretch of G5. And Oda drew Luffy being more taxed than he ever has simply keeping up with Kizaru for a few minutes.
The issue now is even that one major attack he took, Kizaru faked being down. It would just knock him down very briefly instead of for any extended stretch. And we can even question if Kizaru took it on purpose to give him an excuse to be down while Saturn made his way to the island.
Kizaru is already so busted if you actually contextualize the feats. How much more busted do you want him to be?
