Yeah thats fair, I meant if they were nearby or so at least. Waiting by the bottom of the red line so to speak, on the sea ofc? Although their ship being shown there would cause a LOT of problems and panic from the WG and Marines? How did Shanks even get there? Transport wise especially?
I swear I saw a panel of them waiting by the boat, but I think that was from Ohara Arturs's Return To The Reverie chapters? I'm sure Oda didn't show them waiting for Shanks in the actual manga? But I've seen it somewhere somehow? Bah...
That would be absolutely broken haha, like a sort of barrier raid suit? Or you mean making barriers that sort of follow them but still exist seperately to them, like in front of them or w/e? I did wonder if his awakening would let him create "permanent" barriers, maybe only one at a time ofc, which disappears only if he makes a new one maybe?
His fruit is so absolutely broken, especially the unbreakable barrier part, that should have been his awakening...
What if he could make weapons out of those barriers? Make multiple barriers at once? He could make a dome barrier and stairs after all?
Making barriers without needing the hand signs would be so freaking broken too, similar to how Robin could avoid not needing to cross her arms to make limbs as an awakened ability or something in future? I think in the Maria fight, in the anime at least, I saw her making her giant form or something without crossing her arms? I swear I saw her do something with her DF and she didnt cross her arms for it?
