Kid's heart raced as he faced off against the legendary Shanks once again. He remembered all too well the last time they met, how Benn Beckman had taken his arm in a split second. This time, he was more prepared. He had trained and fought hard to become stronger, but it seemed fate had other plans for him.
Shanks sighed. "You have two options, Kid. You fight me, and we see who comes out on top. Or you give me your poneglyphs and leave Elbaf peacefully."
The two pirate captains clashed in a fierce battle, their crews watching from the sidelines with bated breath. Kid put up a good fight, but Shanks was just too powerful. Suddenly, the monkey of Shanks' crew appeared, wielding a powerful staff.
Kid tried to dodge the monkey's attack, but it was too late. The staff struck him with incredible force, knocking him to the ground. He groaned in pain as he looked down at his arm, which had been severed at the elbow.
Shanks looked down at Kid, who was writhing in pain on the ground. "You never learn, do you?" he said with a sigh. "What did you come to Elbaf for? You knew the risks."
Kid gritted his teeth in anger and pain. "I came for the poneglyph," he said through clenched teeth. "I know you have it. I need it to find the One Piece."
Shanks raised an eyebrow. "And what makes you think I'd just hand it over to you?"
Kid knew he was backed into a corner. He had no choice but to fight for it. But he was injured and weakened, and he knew he stood no chance against Shanks and his crew.
Kid knew he had to make a decision, and fast. He thought about his crew, waiting for him back on his ship. He thought about the poneglyph, and how important it was to his quest for the One Piece. And he thought about the cost of losing another limb.
In the end, he made his choice. He handed over his poneglyphs to Shanks, bowed his head in defeat, and left Elbaf with what was left of his crew.

Dorry and Brogy, the giants of Elbaf, captured him and cooked him, serving him up to the monkey as revenge for his attack on their island.
