Yes I can write a home assignment and understand English perfectly (even some British accents) but the conversation skills are mid because I don’t need them in my daily life

Elderly English teachers tend to have a bad pronunciation.
Imagine hardcore German accent+village dialect accent=🤣🤣🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣

Tbh some British accents are easier to understand that that darned Queen's English.
The Queen's English is to English what Saxon is to German=strangely deformed words because they make every vowel sound as if it were an umlaut


Some of those Scottish dialects almost sound German, it's insane
