Issho having no Wano connections is really odd. Maybe he's from a nation that was settled by people from Wano? Like Zoro's island but on a larger scale.

It would be interesting if Gandhi's Celestial Dragon family had some sort of connection with Wano before the rise of the World Government.

There are many questions regarding Fujitora but the same goes for Ryokugyu.

So WG randomly holds a military draft and 4 Admiral position candidates pop up? Feels odd.

4 ( Fuji, Ryo, Chaton and Gion ).

I think Gion was a marine pre time skip, I think it's mentioned that she's close to Tsuru, but yeah the other 3 are interesting.

Imo, I think Aramaki was a bounty hunter, and Issho was probably a famous fighter/maybe ex general of an allied nation.

Gion and Chaton would become Admirals if not for Fuji and Ryo popping up.

I like the idea behind Ryo, and finally something interesting. Fujitora screams Wano. I thought he might've been one of the Daimyo during Kaido's massacre and he blinded himself as a punishment for not being able to help vs Kaido although I think by this point we would get this mentioned/answered.

Gion and Chaton were fan designs submitted to Oda for an SBS and he made them canon for Reverie. They were said to be Admiral candidates by their creator too. Oda IIRC said they can't be Admirals due to lack of "available slots" or whatever.
