Ironically though, this would make it very bitter on what Oda did with Kidd, well much more so, as Kidd ALMOST ended up going up to Egghead potentially and that arc would have been PERFECT for him (let the SHs get Elbaf and Shanks and give Egghead to Kidd instead, sigh.) and we could have Oda playing on the connection on Kidd being a punk rebel with his Punk attacks and VegaPUNK ofc!

From what I remember it was something like Kid’s SBS explained that he was from a land unaffiliated from the WG. They theorized that it was the former Sorbet Kingdom and due to Kuma’s actions it lost its status in WG. Kid’s and Bonney’s story might lead back to helping said Kingdom
