The mystery behind the "Will of D." isn't about what the acronym stands for, but rather its deeper meaning and significance.
Oda already told us Ds are mortal enemies of the gods.
There is no hidden deeper meaning and significance than this^
It's all.
Only thing left is what D is the shortcut for which is probably Dawn or Destiny.
Chapter 1,085: The World and its Enemies

- in the cover, Kidd tries to eat an Iron disc while chilling with an Iron giant
- Imu is not Lily and there is no character design’s reveal
- Imu knew Lily and says that she left him/her for Ds
- According to Ghandi-looking Gorosei (allowed to speak by Imu), D” is a mark given to those inheriting the will of the families who opposed the WG forces in the first place
- D has no exact meaning as it refers to thinks WG despises: Devils - Enemy of Gods / Dreams / Destiny
- Imu seems to use his/her powers, everything becomes cloudy and a storm appears
- In the last page, we as readers witness Cobra’s death by watching his shadow being stabbed by a very long arrow coming from Imu’s throne
- Chapter ends with Sabo watching the entire scene and Imu’s noticing his presence (eyes meet)
