And this scene is even more of a reason for me to believe it's likely that Kaido ate Oden. It means Oda doesn't shy away from writing cannibalism into his story.
I never questioned for a second that they did eat Oden's remains. His name is enough of an implication+the damn dance where he repeatedly announces that Oden is not Oden if it's not being boiled.

Before we get spoilers, I have a small prediction: I feel that clash between Drake and Guernica was a prologue of things to come, and SWORD are in bigger danger then they think they are. Like, they're set up to die at Fullalead by the WG.

If the Straw Hats actually had to fight all of this: Imu, the Gorosei, God's Knights, the Seraphim, the Pacifista Mark 3's, the Fleet Admiral, Admirals, Vice Admirals, and everyone else in a war, they are just fucked.

Oda's set up the Marines splintering into two factions for a long time.

One of Oda's original ideas for One Piece involved three factions:

The Marines
The Morganeers, who were evil pirates, and
The Peace Mains, who were pirates who helped people, rather than be evil

Garp was originally a Peace Main pirate in this version.

I think Koby, Garp, Smoker, Tashigi, Drake, etc, will end up being like the Peace Mains; a group who's rebelled against the World Government not to commit crimes, but because they believe the World Government is criminal.

This way they can work with pirates like Luffy, without giving up on being Marines.

Marine Civil War Arc would be peak One Piece IMO.

Who is Guernica?

Yeah, but it's not necessary. Werewolves who don't eat humans but just eat other meat are like, the vegetarians of Werewolves. Kind of. The point is, I do not consume human flesh.

Moving on, Guernica is Mr. Go, the bowler mask man that survived Kaido's attack after screwing over Luffy pre Gear 5.

He's named Guernica after the Picasso painting
