I really like the idea of Kid's Ship, the Victoria Punk, having a Klabautermann based off of Victoria.
Having Victoria's Klabautermann inspire Kid and Killer to rebuild to ship, and to continue on as pirates, would be a great way to utilize the Klabautermann in the story, and would be a wonderful place to give Kid and Killer's backstory regarding Victoria and her death that was SBS'd.
Oda has rarely destroyed a significant crew's ship in this series. The only other instance I can think of is with the Whitebeard Pirates.
Oda/Shanks (same person really) blowing up the Victoria Punk is going to be more important than people think, IMO.
