Chapter 1073: Life and memories of Barthomew Kuma

Short Summary thanks to Malik from TalkOP
- In the cover, MADS scientists cheer for the success of Buckingham Stussy’s clone
- Chapter is almost entirely dedicated to Kuma’s flashback
- We see the early days of Kuma as the leader of Sorbet Kingdom, his participation at the Reverie, and the subsequent formation of the liberty army
- Sorbet Kingdom was destroyed by WG because of Kuma’s affiliation to the liberty army (the attack was led by Akainu). Kuma gained his name “the Tyrant” after a rampage against WG’s army. He then created a pirate crew with the few survivors of Sorbet Kingdom.
- Bonney is Kuma’s “daughter”, but she was born in Egghead as the “concretisation” of Kuma’s love for the people of Sorbet’s kingdom. She indeed took the somatic traits of a previous queen (Conney) and some memories of the Kingdom itself grew in her.
- After that Bonney was discovered, Kuma decided to protect her (and the secret of her birth) at the cost of his life: He became a warlord, he agreed to the Pacifista Project, he asked Vegapunk to remove his memories when he became a slave of the celestial dragons.
- At the end of the chapter, Bonney is completely broken by pain
- No break next week
