Honestly, i think this is a phase. They have more money than what they know to do with rn. But as soon as they find proper investments, interest in their league will fizzle out. With technological advancements in renewable energy and other stuff like entertainment industry in the coming years/decades, i doubt they'll keep importing foreign talent for exorbitant amounts of cash.

Ok I may have misremembered, the Galaxies/stars are too big for that "time". Still, they're still learning and changing what's known. It's ever changing so to stick to only what's been said, this is for both sides, is faulty.

You were right - We did find galaxies with red shift greater than 10 meaning they were formed just after 500-700 millions after Big Bang and are really really far
Now, our simulations did predict galaxy formations during that time but issue was those 4 galaxies which we discovered so far also had huge mass and massive star production which didn't make sense as it's not possible to have such galaxies within first 500 millions of Big Bang and led to all those rumors.
However, more reasearch were done and we realised two things
1)those four massive and distant galaxies are exceptions. We found another galaxy at same distance fitting our models.
2) it gave insight on our simulations and models need to be work upon more.....
Infact, more than this, there is another thing - there was a paper recently, which predicted BBT happened not 13.8 Billion years ago..but 26 Billion years ago.
So, yeah we are no way near be sure but as of now majority of the evidences are pointing towards BB happening
