I'm very happy for admiral bros that this chapter hypes up the admirals.
If Kizaru uses conqueror's coating, this will change my whole perception on the admirals and I'll put them at a similar level to the yonko.
I believe that Luffy and Kizaru hit each other with conqueror's coating in 1092 and split the skies, surely both in base.
They should however not forget that Luffy did the same against Kaido and still took an L, so this feat per se is meaningless as we can't tell for sure they are equals. Luffy may be stronger, Kizaru may be stronger, who knows.
What is certain is that this chapter will lead to Luffy using Gear 5 against Kizaru and Kizaru might use his awakened powers in turn.

This is why you always need to look at authorial intent of a scene and not try and nitpick the scene to oblivion
The point of that scene was that an Admiral >>> multiple top Yonko Commanders. Oda didn’t draw that scene wanting you to go invent massive cope about injuries or sea stone cuffs or whatever. The point is Admirals >>> top YCs.
