When Zoro realizes Luffy needs rest, and that Kizaru is still active, and that Saturn has shown up, Zoro will expend whatever energy he needs to wreck Lucci, and then turn to protecting Luffy, since Zoro knows Sanji will take care of Saturn for the moment.

Lucci next chapter: "Heh, your captain is pathetic, losing to Kizaru so quick."

Zoro: "He hasn't lost... he's just taking a break. You're the one who's done for."

Zoro was fine stalling Lucci when it was Luffy vs Kizaru and no Saturn, now, Zoro will get serious.

The only thing that gives me any pause is Bonney stabbing Saturn.

But honestly his aura/presence/portrayal in this chapter was insane. He came in like a final boss or a bleach villain.

Doubt he'd be weaker than Kaido.

People still underestimate Kaido. I'm thoroughly convinced the only pirate stronger than him at the time was Shanks. The WG were scared of him shitless, and I'd bet Yonkos are still stronger or equal to the Gorosei. I just think battles are becoming a little bit more nuanced in One Piece, Kizaru is weaker than Luffy (not by a lot) but his hax abilities are great to counter almost any opponent.

Saturn is probably really strong, but I don't wanna make conclusive claims about him just yet. I don't know if he's even stronger than Kizaru. For now, I suspect Oda wants to keep us wondering about these things.
