I was watching lots of theories back then. Everyone thought he's important to the story. He's not. He's pure fodder, a useless side character. So much hype for nothing. Honestly I expected that encounter to have more meaning, it had none. He's pathetic.

People speculated he's Zoro's father because of green hair. Then there were some speculations of how he's going to either fight the SHP or he's going to reveal some important knowledge to them.

It doesn't matter if Oda fucked up or not with his writing. That still doesn't improve Greenbull's poor image.
