It really depends on the manner of Sasuke’s death but generally no. It’d take a lot to shake Itachi’s loyalty to Konoha, which he would fall back on as his primary obsession with a dead Sasuke.
If Danzo does it or something maybe Itachi makes good on his threats, that could lead to it? Maybe? Living Itachi’s mindset was fairly warped so I can see him lunging to weird conclusions like “Infinite Tsukuyomi is actually consistent with my world view”
Good point, it was actually the plan to assasinate Sasuke in the sound village, and at that point it gets complicated. I mean, the promise is pretty simple, Danzo wasn't to hurt Sasuke, but again, he is kind of in an enemy village now. Still, I think it would at least make Itachi more of a neutral guy, who doesnt really get along with any side
I was like, wtf did he done?
Naruto learned jackshit during his training in years..
Dude look how Sasuke come out after the timeskip and how Naruto was after the timeskip.
Itachi says even with backup the outcome wouldn't change, it's hard to interfere with a battle on this level
They don't need to kill Jiraiya, if they had the tools to restrain him, capture Naruto and leave they'd have done that
