It's gonna get much if bonney 4 nakama fans get their way too. Just look at what Oda did to bonney in that arc, s-snake, nami and momo, yamato and momo, tama working in red light district, nami and sanji in Film z etc.
Also which certain authors aside from Watsuki that Oda is very close with and thus supports and defends. Toriko author, Act Age I think it was, can't remember the other.

There's nothing to admit to. Art reflects what is in the artist's heart.
It is in Oda's heart to pay homage to Watsuki through Zoro's character design, and it's in his heart that Sanji's behaviours are acceptable.
You can like things and be critical of them. I don't know why you seem to have such a hard time separating yourself from the things you like.
Points for creativity.
Japan is so insanely off-putting when it comes to their laws regarding minors.
You'd be a) surprised at just how MANY (or maybe not) authors, actors, public figures, etc. in Japan get caught, and b) just how incredibly lax their punishments are.
All countries are strange in some regard, but Japan gets a lot of passes because of how culturally relevant they are.

Thats a good point actually, I can't remember what they said but that does sound right. It would sound fitting if they thought DFs were sorcery, I think the same was said about Goldberg's shield being a homie right? We don't even know how he ended up with a shield homie? Obviously from the soul fruit ofc but how, when, why etc?
If the Marines/WG were actually smarter, they would give their giant squad DFs at least, really create some powerhouses out of them.
But I think you're right too unfortunately, it's a convenient copout for Oda to make it easier on himself and the story by not giving the giants DFs but it's very disappointing too.
Although at least Hajurdin knows of them ofc, he mentioned seeing giants with a logia power as in its never happened before seemingly?:
I've been praying to see a giant with a wind logia as we've yet to see a wind logia somehow in the story and unless Dragon has it as he should do, I'd love a giant to have it instead. But we've yet to see an oil logia which I'd love to see too. or anything else we have or not thought about yet.
Maybe even the fable resin logia we were meant to get for Luffys awakening as some of us believed in? RIP Lmao.
We could also get an earth logia on a giant potentially but that would be a Pica 2.0 literally, Pica even made a gigantic form and thus showed the potential of a giant with it but as per usual, giant targets are just the biggest punching bags ofc, despite their destructive power and "tankiness".
Aye I'd like that a lot, that would be so perfect symbolically too and I'd love another high up fight like with Luffy vs Kaido too. It feels like things should escalate that way, quite literally even, especially with Imu, the supreme ruler of the world and "God" themselves and how Celestials always see themselves as above everyone, once again literally even with the holy ground atop the red line looking down on everyone and such ofc.
Rebuilding Mary Geoise in Heaven Realm would be a very interesting twist, would bring it much closer to New Marineford too, I like that. They could gain some of the giants as part of their military too potentially or even most to all of them if Imu gets to Domi Reverse them too.
