I'm not sold on Teach vs Kizaru. I think Kizaru is gonna ride the rest of this series as one of the undefeated top tiers.

However if Kizaru is going to go down, it's going to be through Teach, no one else.

Pretty inclined to agree. I could see Teach vs Kizaru but if anything Kizaru's barrier haki, range and light seem more like counters to Teach's darkness, pull and quakes than anything.

One crackpot theory I have us that I do think we might get Kuzan vs Kizaru where Kizaru loses. Then Kizaru gets character development so he fights and beats Akainu who then gets his wake up call.

So then we'd have C3 rock paper scissors where: Akainu beats Kuzan who gets his purpose, then Kuzan beats Kizaru who gets his purpose, then Kizaru beats Akainu who gets his.

This is definitely the best depiction of a potential Admiral Royal Rumble with all known Admirals in history including Zephyr and Admiral Jiaga.

They all jump Akainu at first who represents Beerus, fail to take him out. Then they fight each other and the battle ends with Akainu/Beerus and Prime Garp/Rat outlasting the rest and Oda leaves it open who actually is the strongest Marine in history by having Kong stop it.

In the second to last panel Akainu takes down Prime Sengoku and Prime Garp takes down Kizaru.

For me the narrative for darkness consuming light takes precedence over this, not only that but Teach can always pull Kizaru in and he might even have other ways of shutting down df users with awakening from afar.

Actually. Thinking about it I believe in an Admiral Royal Rumble they would settle things with close combat. Each one using their fruit ofc, but ultimately I believe the brawlers last the longest.
