Bleach heavily inspired a lot of the beloved modern day Shonens like JJK, Demon slayer, Black Clover, and MHA. So with the new arc coming out and people are already fans of the others, it makes sense they’d be a fan of bleach now

I’m not shocked. The entire industry is different now. You won’t find many shonens hit the chapter numbers of the big 3 cause typically most Shonen are aimed to be done in half the time. Plus the big 3 were constantly aired on tv cause rather than anime being seasonal, it was consistently being produced weekly (even with filler) so they never left the audience minds. This let them get overwhelmingly popular to a level we’ll probably never see again
