Fingers crossed for Xebeck's colors to be revealed. :steef:
I just hope it doesn't look as gaudy as Garling, Loki or Yamato.

I think Oda's going to use Linlin to explore genetic outliers: both her parents appear to be normal humans, but, IMO, she clearly has Buccaneer Blood. Vegapunk will be like: "Genetic mutations in Lineage Factor, can cause people to be born with traits that make no sense, considering their parents."

Kaido's childhood is 1000% Oni related, IMO. Kaido went on about Onis to Yamato a good amount in Wano; I think he lived on a Sky Island. During the Void Century war some of the Sky Islands on Elbaph broke off, and floated away. These would be Sky Islands without a Log Pose: just drifters.

Overtime, the Ancient Giants living on these islands shrunk in size due to lack of food, and became brutal over fighting over limited resources.

Harald fell in love with the Queen of the Oni, Kaido's mom, but couldn't find her again, because their island has no Log Pose.

Look at what the WG did to a peaceful man like Clapp and his family: the Oni must be REVILED by the WG, the history of Kaido/Yamato's race is going to incredibly brutal.

Kaido/Yamato will be our window into the Oni race that descended from the Giants like the Buccaneers.

I like Egghead's overall aesthetic, but the animation is (and it pains me to say this as a Buggy fanatic) too flashy. Especially Kizaru's stuff. The animation in the Kuma flashback is fantastic, but the fights are just really bright... watery? Like, nothing feels solid/firm, and the linework just does whatever the fuck it wants.

Luffy vs Lucci was fantastic, and I like what they did with Sentomaru vs Kizaru, but everything else was just... eh.
Definitely, especially in regards to the oni and Egghead's over the top cartoonish animation style, but I think Big Mom might instead be revealed to have been secretly experimented on by someone with the same type of giant growth hormones that Caesar gave to those kids on Punk Hazard since it was confirmed that the WG has been dabbling with gigantification for centuries. Big Mom's behavior, mood swings and sudden rampages seem to line up with how the kids reacted after suffering withdrawal symptoms. Big Mom might've been a failed older version of those experiments, which might explain why she went from being a giant sized child to simply a large sized human as an adult. But if that's the case, that means either one or both of her parents or someone they knew had ties to the WG.

Apparently 17 years ago there was an argument on bodybuilding.com on how many days there are in a week, over 100 messages
"I have spent like an hour, really trying to get this through that thick, dense, skull....I have to admit, in 10 yrs posting 15,000 posts on car forums, bike forums, fitness forums, I have NEVER met someone more fuking dumb. I will link this thread all over the planet if you don't admit defeat. It will happen. You just cannot be that dumb, I refuse to believe it!"

Looks like he followed up on that promise.

If you look at the people on the ship that dropped Linlin off on Elbaph, a lot of them are wearing suits/look like CP Agents.

If Linlin has Buccaneer blood, it's possible something like this happened:

WG: "Your child has Buccaneer blood. Don't worry, we know you folks don't have it; it's a genetic mutation. She's too dangerous to live in normal society, we're going to send her to a Government Agent that helps raise people like her to work for the WG."
Linlin's Parents: "Oh, heavens, that's why she eats/acts like this... We love her so much, please, take care of her."

Maybe Linlin ate some kind of experimental substance when she was young?

It would be really interesting if Linlin's parents were still alive. Linlin is 68; the oldest woman we've seen in the series is Kureha at 141.

Never forget:

And LOda wants to bring this bum back to life smh my head my head

Now that you mention it, her father does give off government agent vibes. In the anime he looks different, but in the manga he reminds me of a younger Corgi, that old, high-ranking Cipher Pol agent we saw back in Water 7 who Usopp blasted.

It also doesn't help that Oda's editors are mostly useless. The guy we were stuck with for years from Zou to Wano was a Yes Man who cried over anything Oda did, talked about how reluctant he was to speak up, and that the only thing he had the balls to do was begging Oda to put Carrot in more panels because he had a crush on her, giving many the false impression that she was a potential nakama.
Carrot bros used to cope so hard over Naito's involvement with her screentime, it was unbelievable :risisweat:

Funny how the moment Naito resigned early into Wano, Carrot disappeared completely into the background and Carrot bros refused to take the hint lmao
