Been saying this. Oda is writing this story terribly based on the fact that at this point we are still this deep in flashbacks.

He could have easily handled this by having extra canon stories be told in the cover pages/stories instead of focusing on irrelevant bullshit.

To add nika has been used horribly. Luffy for 0 reason is spamming it: (agaisnt lucci, Saturn, giant animals in elbaf, gaban even when zoro was assisting him).

In wano it was supposed to be zoro and luffy combined effort that put kaido down which would still add to the fact that 1v1 bet on kaido while at the same time showing luffy and zoros growth and still tying in the zoro and ryuma lore with luffy and the sun god lore. Also all straw hats that didnt have haki were supposed to learn BASIC armament haki since armament haki was the whole "Schtick"

Elbaf should have literally been franky and sanjis arc in terms of power development. Infact this was the perfect time for all devil fruit straw hats to receive awakening

Elbaf is ok but ofas pacing with flash backs needs to be adjusted quickly. The focus on conquerors haki is nice but again this leaves alot of the straw hats out of play. Infact all strawhats are out of play except luffy zoro and possibly brook

So I was right about Naito being the reason Carrot got shafted so hard after all? For one reason or another? That explains so much, it just felt like Oda wanted to sweep her under the carpet and forget about her.

Lmfao I didnt even consider that connection. We got Angry Birds Pig Puumbaa and rather than giving Nusjuro the colour green which would be far more thematically fitting with his death theme and also great for the fact that Zoro is meant to be his ultimate opponent, so it fits that way too, Oda made him red which doesnt fit at all sigh. Mihawk has green associated with him due to the candles on his coffin boat and his history with Zoro too, but alas.

The jokes about Oda being colourblind might actually be true. Ironic given he went for eye surgery and yet Fujitora could design better colours than this lmao.

I like bright colours but this is ridiculous, too bright and way too ill fitting colours. Mars is the only one who looks removely good to me.

This just makes them look like Pokemon or something.

I'll never get tired of how amazing Mars's design looks though, Nusjuro being absolutely insanely badass as a fighter though, Warcury using his horns as blades in a hilariously ingenious way like that and Ju Peter being a walking er crawling black hole lol. Oda really did them dirty with the colours, I mean it fits more for the clowning they got and will get and that Saturn got especially but still.

Agreed, but Egghead should've been Franky and Robin's development arc, and Elbaf should be Usopp and Sanji's. Instead, Usopp is just bumming around and getting drunk. I mean ffs, Franky's back remains his main vulnerability, and he was on an island filled with cyborgs and the most brilliant minds in the world, and yet he barely interacts with Vegapunk at all beyond simping and all that we get out of that is a useless message and the revelation that Vegapunk is not only a scumbag, but a naive one at that. And Vegapunk, who is supposed to be doing research on the Void Century, offers Robin nothing of value. Heck, not even Chopper gets anything despite Vegapunk probably having the most advanced med tech in the world.

"I'm going to use your highly illegal buccaneer blood that government officials hunt on sight to make morally questionable cloned super soldiers from their corpses to spread 'peace' and in no way could this be used for something evil!"
