More than half of us always hate the chapter tho
I 100% enjoy reading without leaks, because leakers agenda baiting make people have fake expectations for the chapter. This just completely derails any potential meaningful conversation.

That's why discussions here can be so funny to read. You'll have two people who don't read the manga quoting shit that never happened in the manga, then telling each other they should read the manga. Holy Jalepeno Horse Titties, what Laboon size shit.

One piece is so much better to read without leaks, but I absolutely love the overall community, so I have a hard time not looking at leaks, because it would severely limit my ability to interact with people.

I've spent a lot of time wondering how many people here who hate one piece, would actually still like it if they read the series rare than constantly read comments from people who hate one piece.

My feelings for the series were much more positive before I entered the fan base.

Chopper gets a random combat feat and people act like Oda ate their Grandma or some shit

One piece has a lot of problems in this series, but as a community, our biggest problem is one hundred percent insane haters.

It's like the media coverage of the nba. How the fuck are you supposed to grow your product? When the people that are supposed to be talking about it just spend all their time talking about how much they hate everything?

To be fair, though the nba is complete donkey nuts and deserves it.

There's a giant difference between having issues with one piece and legitimately criticizing the series, and actually hating other people because they like Sanji.

The problem is not people with legitimate criticism. The problem is insane haters.

The timeskip has so much shit you can criticize

The best approach is just not to take the hate seriously and be focused on what you enjoy. Haters gonna hate, just don't let them get to you.

There was so much shit talking about previous two chapters, because of agenda piece and powerscaling wars. I still enjoyed both, the only thing I really didn't like was the Disneyfication of DR which cases plot inconsistencies. And our discussions were an emotional outlet for me as well.

Also I like reading the forum because among those piles of agenda threads there are also genuinely interesting theories and findings which I would miss on my own, because my reading of OP is scattered throughout almost 20 years and I easily miss or forget some details.
