The idea that Dragon should've stormed Mariejois himself to save his friend is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I know everyone that's disappointed in Dragon doesn't share that opinion but it's a very common take amongst the fandom

"Dragon is a fake Monkey D. because Garp and Luffy would've dropped everything to try to save her" Yeah, and that's why Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and they aren't lol

Luffy and Garp would run in and get killed in the process. The Revolution hinges on Dragon's leadership, doubly so if he actually has the Rain God fruit that could be a key part in toppling the WG someday
Garp even got himself captured.
xD
And he was lucky that half of the BBP crew wasn't there.

Dude, go fuck yourself, this has turned into a crazy conversation. I talk and you don't listen, so I want you to fuck off. I already explained that he doesn't need to come in here causing a huge uproar, but you just want to defend your perfect, crystal-clear author and your fraudulent revolutionary, so go fuck yourself, and don't even bother replying to this shit.
Pussy.

Legit lol

With half of the crew missing he just barely managed to get Coby and the rest of them out of there in one piece, sacrificing himself in the process

Imagine Dragon invading Mariejois. Imu's home turf so no time limit + all 5 Gorosei + Holy Knights
It's insanely funny to me how people call One Piece too childish in one hand, then come up with these kinds of ideas on the other.
:milaugh:

"Disney Piece" but they want Oda to write Dragon YOLOing his way through Mariejois risking his entire operation to save a single person

Again, not saying that's everyone but it's a pretty significant chunk

"Luffy would never" lmaoooo

It's so funny because we actually have a moment where Luffy says they should invade Mariejois to save Vivi, and everyone on the crew immediately tells him "No, you dumbass, that's literally walking right into the enemy's home. Let her resolve her issues on her own instead of trying to get us killed for her sake." and that went over everyone's heads.
Everyone? Zoro did that and got abused

Never understood Dragon hate
Even more so when we learn he was an ex Marine like you expect him to risk his little force against the WG when he has an idea of what it would take.
The guy is on a mission to overthrow an entity that has ruled the world for 800 years, he cant afford to let his feelings dictate his actions.

Dragon hate is irrational because they are scared he will become stronger than their favorite character.
