The way they massacred my guy Zeus........like, Gorr was bad enough, the bad CGI was bad enough, the thing with Thor just.....handing out his powers to a bunch of kids was BAD ENOUGH.......but they made ZEUS into a fucking joke? Skyfathers already get shit on enough by Marvell, but that was just........Odin at least got the respect and hype of Thanos waiting until he was out of the picture to even TRY his big plan. Zeus got turned into fat Russell Crowe and bitched by his own lightning bolt. HOW!?!?. 😭😭😭😭😭
When it comes to Bats vs Spidey, nowadays I lean ever so slightly more towards the former. The thing is, Bruce simply has a superior rogues gallery (a B-lister like Electro has zero good stories about him in any Spidey media that I've come across, including the comics; meanwhile even B-man's C-listers like Zsasz and Pr. Pyg are solid enough characters), but Peter has a supporting cast that's more consistently explored across the media. As someone who's desperately craving a high quality Batfamily animated series or even a LA show (where Bruce stays alive, fuck Montreal's Gotham Knights), it's a bit maddening how often Bruce's relations are limited to mostly Alfred, Gordon, the villain of the story, and that's about it.
Ngl I stopped enjoying Spidey after realizing that so many of his storylines just end up with him as a miserable broke loser.
I get the relatability aspect is important but the obsession so many of his writers and fans have with making him miserable is just blegh.
Plus tbh I only liked Toby's Spidey that much tbh.
Why is Batman better though?
