Ahh but based on hints that doesn't seem to be the case
He probably comes in with the same attack he used against luffy and zoro chapters back. A barrage of long ranged axe air slashes. The slashes distract imu.
It's revealed that imus time limit is ending soon hence why when he summons his swords in the other hint they simply break/disappear.
Within this distraction gaban sees luffy , scoops him up and he runs out of there.
The hint about the zoro versus king thing was in reference to the conversation about being a swordsman. This line may reference the fact that imu isn't a person whom only relies on swords (which we all know) and tries attacking gaban with luffy anyway.
The hint with ussop is ussop seeing all of this and pondering what he should do.
The chapter ends with ussop screaming out to everyone "help our captain luffy". And then we get a page of everyone looking serious
