We never saw him killing Sukiyaki its only implied. If it was another series i would say it was Orochi killed him but i doubt at this point maybe old Man near him killed Sukiyaki.

At this point in the story i wouldnt be suprised if Sukiyaki is alive end of Wano. (Yes, i am talking about Hitetsu is Sukiyaki theory. )
