Character Discussion Overall Did Marco meet expectations?

He is not bad, but wasn’t that impressive. Yeah, he briefly was capable of handling two YCs yet neither received much damage, his stamina is disappointing and haki was not worth noting.

Yup not a damn thing about Haki from Marco but I guess we can say the same about King somewhat, I mean it was clear his sword was haki’d up but it was never commented on.

Yesss Marco is a dope character !

The guy is cool, laid back, awesome powers and design, and his history with the WBP is tragic but great

The guy is the best right hand for me, has the full package

I would have obviously preferred if the « message » to Luffy wasn’t just some empty thing. Also his presence in Wano was nice but underdeveloped. Same for his relationship and tension with Weevil.

overall a really solid character and I don’t know if it’s really the end for him story wise

Overall, yes. He did pretty much what I expected him to do, given the acknowledgements he’s received from various characters. Maybe a 1 on 1 with someone would have been nice, but Oda clearly just intended him for support.

Overrall yes I think he was the first YC1 that we saw fighting MF was impressive he tied with admirals and been exhausted was able to stalamate akainu and in wano he also did well against the likes of BM Queen and king eventhough he tied against the last one
