The marine is a force to fight pirates not just yonkos the marines should have more to than a million soldiers, compared to yonko crews, we saw what happened in marineford when the marines only had a fragment of there true prowess and they would have won the war without the death or serious injury of any major officer as they would have annihilated the wb pirates( even pirmebeard would face the same fate) if not of bb pirates and shanks crew and probably the unknown kaido pirates.
I just wanted to bring to light the misconception that people think the Marines are just to counter the yonkos when they are more than that.
The marines have at least 6 confirmed top tiers ( and probably more which would be shown fduring there arc) compared to a yonko crew which as a maximum of 2 top tiers when crew lol bigmom crew only has one.
You might say if the marines are that story what have they not just hanged up on one yonko crew one after the other and annihilated them all, I can only think of a few excuses
1. Plot hole
2. The WG wants to keep the balance
3. There are more pirates out there than the yonko crew
Don’t get me wrong but yonkos on average are stronger than admirals, but yonko crews are nothing without their captains
