Questions & Mysteries Pirate king and The greatest swordsman is the same?

#1
I just got this thinking about mihawk and how this greatest swordsman in the world is also one of the freest man in the world.

he can choose he fights, he can choose who he wants to be an ally, choose what he bilieves, he was also a very wise man things that similar to luffy in some way.

are we not seeing this? Is the greatest swordsman for zoro is kinda like the pirate king? A freeman? Is this one of the reason why he follows luffy, dedicate his life, because how can he actually become free if he cant even protect his captain if he fears death?

If you know Saitama from One punch man you'd understand the emptiness one feels to be the greatest or the strongest which is what Mihawk suffers from now and he satiates this desire or thrill of competent and thrilling fights by picking and messing with people for his own fun.

Zoro is certainly a free man figuratively if not literally.. The way you describe his freedom just makes any other straw hats as free as Luffy.. the way Luffy describes it as the PK is the freest man on the sea not bound by title, responsibility, and underlings. BUT just a carefree life which resonate with his personality well..where everything he does is on a whim.. Not intentions

Zoro is bound by his title as the WSS hypothetically. He woukd face people wanting that title so as he gets bore of being the WSS he'd too seek the seas for a worthy opponent that would satiate and reignite the thrill of fights in him.. Noy only that zoro ATM is bound by vows to achieve that title.. While Luffy's vows have been to become freer than anyone.. and he would then impose this free ideology to the world that's why he is being linked to Nika and Joy boy.. People who laugh and bring laughter while being unbounded.

If they can also concide then yes why not. And not necessarily just because they feature the title of course.

Roger was likely a swordsman, but so was likely Whitebeard in that possessor of a supreme grade.

I don’t think Mihawk not Zoro look at the title of the WSS like this.. to them it doesn’t seem like about being free, but simply stronger and better than any swordsman in the world.
Theres deep deep meanings bro, you can learn a lot from animes if you listen or look carefully. This is why you should check my other threads

I would like it if you give links of your other threads. Tho when it comes to this topic it’s really not complicated nor given the impression to be as such.

Wss are built to be servants. WSS to the WG. Oden (self proclaimed) to WB, Roger, Orochi etc. Zoro to Luffy. Even Ryuuma as a Shimotsuki was either a vassal to the Daimyo Shimutksuki or if he was the Daimyu himself he still falls under the millenia old Kozuki shogunate.
So no WSS and Pirate King are not the same thing
