oh lol, I haven't watched the previous pokemon series up to that point, so idk what kind of spotlight it had, but Hogator is the main partner pokemon of the deuteragonist of the show
I couldn't stand watching Unova that I ended up quitting (Haven't watched past that basically So, Sinnoh remains the best, for me So far). and Oshawott or whatever, He's whole demeanor to me was that he was an Autistic Retard. So while the image of Fuecoco looking to be in a dumbish predicament, I considered he might just be similar to that Oshawott.

I see, idk how it is personalitywise with Oshawott. But Horizons gives me the impression that they learned from past Pokemon installments and they hit the reset button. I like the Pokemon personalities so far too. Hogator is a good fit for Roy. Roy might be a weird and cringe addition at the beginning, but he is becomming better with the following arc. A good kid I would root for.

Unova had no tension tbh.

In one of the upcoming episodes, the character Kabu is going to be introduced.

It looks like the Pokemon anime is finally going to introduce more of the Galar Gym Leaders.:kobeha:

I'm not really interested in watching him, but the main lead girl yeah Sure.

That and Tripp and his Snivy, fucking Pikachu lost to a beginner Pokemon, it was definitely at that point this was all asinine (idc if Pikachu was *afflicted *) oh and Iris was annoying as hell, "Such a Kid!" I wanted to murder her... heh

lit episode, this was quite a typical training episode, but it was cutely executed

think this one focussed alot on Kaiden's and Hgator's personalities and their willingness to strive for more as pokemons, and ofc this is reflecting within Roy's personality.

now curious whether Liko will soon obtain her second partner or stick with Nyahoja, both routes would be interesting I think

and damn, seems there is so much more to learn about Friede and the relationship with his Pokemon...
seems we haven't seen him or Cap or Lizardon go all out yet.
feels like in today's episode, Cap's been pushed to a high diff for the first time and...he can fucking fly :choppawhat::choppawhat::choppawhat:
even for a training episode wyld

I binged pokemon anime in the last decade, while i was in my high school years, out of curiosity.
😑 😑 😴 😴 What a atrocious joke that show was. Trash Ketchup is a horrible protagonist. From the beginning, that boy was unnaturally stupid and incapable of driving his own story. He is embarrassingly incapable of doing everyday things like cooking and stay informed about matters of the world around him. He caugth numerous pokemon, but all of them were badly utilized and left to rot at professor Oak's laboratory afterwards. He never had character development in all these years. He is a pathetic excuse for a character whose personality and life begins and ends with a cringe obsession with pokemon. He spent a eternity traveling aimlessly, without the meaning of his goal being explained, and in his final episode,it was revealed that he has the endless goal of befriending every pokemon in the world. Bruh! Can it get more blatant than that?
Team rocket wasn't funny at all. They were pathetic. The fact that they don't let go of their obsession with pikachu until the end is pukeworthy.
Just asking out of curiosity: Are the things any different now that Trash Ketchup is gone? @Rej

The story is for sure different. The way they write characters and pokemon...quite the same, I think in the new pokemon they added just a bit more complexity with foreshadowing and high plot density.

Tho I havent watchef the second half of Ashs journey to judge. Have seen people also think the other way round lol.
