I think what people often overlook is the fact that we know virtually nothing about what other players have done in their lives and what their ideologies and stances on relevant and sensitive topics are.

They easily assume that just because the environment they are playing in is friendly then all people are clean or so lol.

You are in fact defending what he did in a way, otherwise this wouldn't really be a topic. Even if he changed or whatever, it doesn't erase what happened or how certain users (in this thread) felt due to his actions. The fact that it happened several years ago doesn't really excuse it either.

The player base right now is different from the one in the past so I don't know why you are treating it like it's the exact same conditions as when he last played.

Sure you can say it's mafia and that we don't bring out of game stuff into the thread, but that doesn't erase the fact that we're humans to begin with. We aren't robots without any emotions. When someone crosses a line, that needs to be taken into consideration for the good of the community.

The fact stands that Finalbeta made current mafia players very very uncomfortable to the point that they still feel that way many years later. It's not like we're strangers here, we're all friends (for the most part). The fact that you continue to advocate for his return here knowing that people have suffered as a result of his actions is appalling. You should feel ashamed of yourself.

Not to mention that women have it significantly harder on the internet and in real life. If I had to play with someone that stalked and scared the fuck out of me in the past, I'd feel sick. It's 100x worse if someone I considered a friend/I was friendly towards was the one trying to allow that to happen.

Also @Finalbeta if you truly changed, then you need to accept that some people may forever feel uncomfortable with you due to your past actions. You should leave them alone and respect their right to space.

While I do not agree with my ban being based on 10 years ago actions (the staff of this forum did not ban me for those actions so this only applies to this section despite users all across the forum know about my past as well) I perfectly understand how some users more than others can feel uncomfortable about it.

I perfectly understand that still nowadays I've the troll Avalon also known as A Optimistic on NF using his duplicate accounts to try to bully me, but he doesn't understand that I'm way smarter and capable than he thinks, and to think he even came across my thread in the General Section.

nothing will change what he did but there is no harm in trying to see how much you guys r willing to forgive. i know it's more difficult on some than others but hey no harm in asking. i dont get the appeal to majority when most of the players here had no issues with him in 2022

i agree that the playerbase is different. back in the day we used to pump soldiers on the street. straight muscle. but now... let's just say it's big part of why mafia is going for the worst. the culture itself has gone too soft. but thats not just in mafia, it's the whole world. this again doesn't invalidate us reaching out to see if something can be worked out. probably gonna be harder to reach a compromise with the same generation that locked him up but it's worth a shot
