Also I kinda want a bit more from
@Jan tbh. He feels a little forgettable so far which is ugh.
Deal with it?
We all have more and less active games. I honestly don't have a good grip on this game and feel more lost than I did before.
Let's start on a mechanical level:
Do you think I claim a wonky role destroy on shujing after your watcher thing as scum?
You should know my scumgame well enough to know that my claims are cerebral.
I claim based on truth, or at least based on well-educated guesses.
And I don't put myself in worse situation for no good reason.
I claimed after cyro claimed to increase the pressure on his claim while also building a 2nd pressure spot on shuijing.
Nothing about my claim makes a lot of sense from a scum pov. Unless you add wifom on top of it, which sure, you can do that with any post.
Every single time you have read my posts (including earlier today), you got around to finding me town, but for some reason you have pinged me at least twice today, not because you wanted to know anything specific, only because you wanted "more".
Which is fine if I was lowposting, which I am not. I am just slightly busier than I was a couple of months ago.
You know this because we both talked about being busier starting march.
The third and most important reason is I simply feel somewhat lost.
I am underwhelmed by half the people, rubbed the wrong way by others and question my perception on the leftovers.
Not a gamestate I enjoy a lot, and not a lot to think about.
I think the juliet wagon is town driven, and considering my townread on the slot has been "vibes" makes me doubt that read.
I thought pigboy was somewhat scummy, but weirdly enough, I liked some of his reactions today, even if they are low effort
Shuijing feels scummy based on content, but I liked his reaction today.
Charlie has less energy than in the games before and is townreading me in a postion he shouldn't (considering other people are slowcooking my slotright now, and I don't think those people are all scum).
PB had less enegery d1 than i liked, but had a post n1 that saved him from being my role destroy target.
And I like his playfulness about the claim today, while still playing the game.
(again, he scumreads Juliet as well, which is one of the reasons I feel the need to reevaluate her when I get home from boardgamers later today).
Orca feels different and moved down from "look the boy is trying, maybe he is traumatised from the last game" to "somewhat opportunistic vote switches with little content".
Everyone and their mother ignores him, while people look at the 0 posters as if they committed the original sin.
None of this makes me confident in the game state right now. It floats in my head, and since all I read while catching up is the most active players circle jerking, there is barely any evolution on any of those people.
