You know looking back through the thread I feel like Crying has just been accepted as town and I don't understand why. All he's really done today is drop a few emotional posts and not really progressed his solve at all, very few opinions that I wouldn't regard as safe too bar one or two. Feels like I'm fighting upstream with that though.

Tonally he seems honest, but yes, he should do more. i think Jan and Average are my biggest town reads right now.

BTAM's slot also could have dueled scum when it was 1v1 and they were almost lynched but chose to holster the duel and pray they survive. BTAM is no doubt scum here

The argument being that scum WOULDNT use their duel to try and survive? Are you dumb?

Wouldn't that be incentive for them to duel? The worst thing for scum would be to die without using extra kill power, as they need to remove the numbers. Only exception I can think of would be if them being lynched is preferable to the next wagon over. Doesn't really feel like it works here in this context.

@Lord Melkor i only did a quick skim but i recall u asked if orca scumreads me when hes scum
tbh idr, the only recent game i remember where he was scum and i was town was one where he subbed in and was incredibly inactive and i dont think he did then
believe he was very happy to bus me in a game we were scum together but we were both scum there

To come back to the "threadspewed" angle @ThatAverageGuy typically that's reserved for slots scum lack the confidence to push without making themselves look bad from it. A good player that has had a poor hit rate for example might be threadspewed if no one is really pushing them for it.

With CbnC, he's been pushed, quite a lot actually, and by a lot of slots, but today it's like that's fallen off. Could be that my perception of the day is warped too due to being absent for large bursts of it but still, it feels weird.

I wouldn't. The 1v1 acts as a duel, he survives then duels town gets double the cred from the simpletons while killing off town protector (if pot flips that).

If pot flips scum, then yeah he could be a town lean

In SRM though? I feel like protection roles and the like have less value in these games.
