The Road To Harmony

What do you expect from them?
I expected some more development between him and Oden. He put a lot of emphasis on him when we first met him, but we only got like a single page of them talking in the flashback. But there was nothing unique about his relationship with Oden. He was just another vassal.

I wanted his recruitment to be a more developed plot line. Not just one flashback of him crying over background characters.

I also expected him to stand out more from the other Scabbards, given that Kaido specifically sought him out, and he was the leader of bandits, a ruthless one at that. We could’ve seen some of that nature surface more during his fight with Kaido. But nothing. He didn’t even have one panel to show off a unique move of his own.

in short, he went from a rather intriguing anti-hero into a background character, and it was too sudden a shift to boot.

I agree. He could have been a cynical Character disillusioned by Oden's behaviour, especially the whole "let's wait decades because of this vague prophecy" stuff that practically brought Wano to ruins and Humiliation.

It seems that the only Characters immune to Oden's "charm" are Orochi and Kanjuro and their allies.

Everyone else loves him despite his flaws to an almost ridiculous degree. Even the Greedy Capital people who sold their own countrymen for money still worship him in secret. It's one of the worst parts of the Wano Arc.

Aah thanks.

I was actually asking what are you expecting the Scabbards to do now that they are recovered.
