Post?

My two cents is Luffy is too stubborn every single scenario without thinking of consequences of himself or others around him. Just my opinion made a poll below

Discuss?
If Luffy thinks of consequences.. he’ll be one of those spineless pirates and will have slow progress as a turtle... and we would leave reading this manga...cause nothing interesting will happen

I mean in almost every main confrontation he ends up winning and thus being right.

The times he didn’t were either not his fault and he did alone(Marineford saga) or in Sabaody in which he did tell the crew to run away

Yes. But we love him for at least sticking to his guns , sort to speak. he's got the balls to back up his mouth. Sure it's bitten him back hard several times but That's the kicks. I think the biggest one is Ace... lol

He was pretty intelligent during fights back in Pre TS, expecially Skypeia, Enies Lobby.

I'm not liking his way extensively. He missed to use his KKG the first time on the rooftop.

Stubborn is ok. The problem is the plot convenient.

Once Luffy get beaten, he can still be stubborn but he should be more careful, aware with the consequence, or at least try to come up with strategy, like the time he fight Crocodile.

Sadly post timeskip plot works in the opposite way. He is super carefree and he doesnt need to try. Its like he knows the plot gonna feed him perfect teacher, power ups, or flashback. This makes his story too unrealistic and unrelated, and make Luffy become a shit character.

Cap. KKG is still Luffy's strongest attack. Kaido is a very lucky man:myman:

To the OP's question, helllllllllll yes, Luffy is hella stubborn. That might be one of his only two vices. His virtues greatly outweigh his vices so it doesn't really bother me except when he went to WCI and tried to bring Sanji back against his wishes and ended having Big Mom chase him down to Wano:lawsigh:

I am not so sure of that to put it mildly. But mostly for how durable Kaido proved to be despite ACoA usage, so in my opinion since a single KKG is massively stronger than a single Kong Gun, a KKG may damage him more totality wise in comparison, despite being a single attack rather than as many as in Kong Gatling.

A sound blow vs dozens tickles is the metaphor I'm making.
