The only arguement you could make for the flying six not being vice admiral level, is that they are each much stronger than the average vice admiral.

Pre-pirate pre-timeskip drake was a rear admiral. Drake was only a step below vice admiral level before he even STARTED his journey down the grand line.

Put simply, the level needed to be vice admiral is not particularly high by new world standards.

All of them should be Vice Admirals level (bar Garp, Tsuru, Gion, Chaton). Drake was a Rear Admiral pre-timeskip so current Drake should be a Vice Admiral.

Yeah; quite a few Vice Admirals have been shown with rather unarguably limited combat prowess. Things that are way way way too low for Veteran level.

There are a few powerful Vice Admirals clearly, but they aren't the standard. And some of them, particularly Tsuru, are ludicrously overhyped.

IF you're sure of that, go re-evaluate your life. Vergo beats the shit out of Nami and Usopp combined in mere seconds.

Sanji would never say "I can take care of an idiot like this in no time" with respect to Vergo. Vergo cracked his shin and Sanji was about to lose.

Vergo was probably Veteren Level. Personally, I still put him lower than the Flying 6, but he was on the same larger tier.

He was also a clear outlier and particularly respected figure amongst the Vice Admirals. He was a base Commander to one of the strongest Navy Bases in the world. He has other strong Vice Admirals (like Smoker) working directly under him as subordinates. Vergo was not a gatekeeper to Vice Admiral Level. You can easily be a Vice admiral weaker than Vergo.

I concur here. I think WsW is probably an ~YC3 man based off the notion Jinbe shall more likely "one man him" and we are speaking of Land Jinbe it would appear.

PH Smoker definitely was not one of the weakest VAs , it's guys like Maynard , and little known VAs that are Draw , Nazu Ketagari , Mozambia , Cancer , Comil

PH Smoker was more in the middle pack of Vice Admirals imo , with guys like Vergo , Dalmatian , Onigumo , Doberman , Strawberry , Yamakaji , Momonga

current Smoker however could be in the upper pack of VAs with Garp , Chaton , Momousagi , Tsuru , and John Giant .
