Well sanji has good excuses
He didn't know doffy's abilities, kinda like luffy and zoro against apoo, so obviously he didn't watch out for attacks like parasite, and against judge he held back a lot, specially at the end of the fight when he refused to kill the soldiers
But you can't really make the same excuses for luffy, it's just "haki bloom" I guess

bruh Ben any thread you make regarding asspulls and the options given have, as it seems, little to no logical thought process before nominating them.
sanji fighting g YC becomes asspull when you're in denial to the fact that you have been abasing and forming misconstrued understanding of his strength and also misconstrued the context of the matchups you mentioned,now you have been "canonically" refuted, just be direct and vocal about your hissy fits don't resort to passive-aggressive post-failure last minute evasive hope infusing strats
In addition, Luffy's haki bloom moment was also zoro's haki bloom moment on the roof top, so why the separate categories?
Shouldn't the biggest asspull be Ulti surviving a combo Yonko attack? where is that option why choose M3 for this? ulterior motives ben?

Sanji matching Queen is not an asspull. That just mean Judge and Doflamingo are stronger than we thought since we have no way to scale Queen with Judge and Doflamingo. It's an asspull for example if Sanji can match Doflamingo when he struggled against Vergo and we can scale Vergo and Doflamingo who is stronger between them based on Doflamingo>Law>Vergo based on feat shown in the manga.

Doffy vs Sanji was interrupted too, never knew being held helpless in midair was an "interrupted fight"
