Its a gag thing, Zoro thinks deaths has come for him only o realise its just Brook, its a similar type of gag to when Chopper closed his eyes and thought he was dreaming only to open them up and see Brook's scary face.

Remember Zoro was close to Brook and Robin than he was to Franky, Zoro and King fought closer to the base of Onigashima, so Brook and Robin getting there first is a given
I would tag and clown you if it aint brook

CP-0 are already where Kin'emon was defeated by Kaidou
So Brook & Robin should definitely be outside the Dome where Zoro is

Franky & Chopper are also looking for Zoro
Not to mention that Usopp also saved Kin'emon & he escaped the opposite direction of where CP-0 came from

I think it's obvious that Oda is preparing SHs Reunion
So that Shinigami should be Brook

Wano’s whole deal has been about ghosts and some of the straw hats are having plot lines connected to deceased loved ones. Zoro referenced Kuina, Nami’s bellemere moment , Sanji’s dilemma due to Sora’s sacrifice, Robins illusion, Ace being present with a lot of characters

And obviously the scabbards and the night lanterns

Zoro seeing some actual representation of the afterlife would follow that.

"Only".

Yes. A common representation of death is much less likely than a manifested sword spirit that was never a thing in the story.

"Only thing"
A common representation of death is much less likely than a manifested sword spirit that was never a thing in the story.
But yeah, a well known painkiller-induced hallucination, which was more or less even announced by chopper right before, is much less likely than a sudden representation of death, that was never a thing in the story before.

A gag in the middle of the fucking war that involves him leaving Robin behind. Makes 0 fucking sense whatsoever. Brook might not be the most intelligent Strawhat but come on, why would he think that the best idea is to leave Robin alone with the CP0, go grab a Scythe, a white hoodie and proceed to look for Zoro just to attack him when he sees him. 0 fucking sense. And did you even look at Franky's scene? He is the closest to Zoro and he still doesn't know where he is.

You got the idea.

There are many things that "make sense" and are progressively more likely than Enma being a Zanpakuto.

now I'm doubting its hallucinations

zoro is paralyzed as if something is restricting his movements...the last thing i wanna assume is zoro is so frightened that he's paralyzed

whats odd is oda usually has sanji in chapters where he's going through every plot set in Onigashima i wonder whats up with that

We’re talking about Oda here. You know... the guy who faked out Kin’emons death and brought him back with an unfunny fart gag to top it all off

Y’all can theorize if you want to but don’t be surprised when we find out it’s a gag to pad time and not this “shinigami” stuff
