We want 1v1 shine with the original moves shown, get me that 1080 phoenix, Tatsumaki, Asura, 3 thousand whirls, Tower Climb.

It's not necessary a bad writing, this is a war not a ring match.

Well, currently they’re locked in a 2v2 and will probably branch off into 1v1s once they “figure out” their opponents


So we’re getting both. This seems like the last time a Sanji and Zoro tag team will be possible in the story because they’ll be facing near Admiral-tier characters after Wano and those people will need their own dedicated screen time.

Whatever happens I’ll be happy as long as the art is good. I just love that a 2v2 would make the Zoro/Sanji Wings duo deniers seethe

By "tag team" you must mean Zoro carry while Sanji try and fail to be usefull.

Tag team would be cool but for every zoro attack on queen and sanji attack on king we will have a higher risk of some stan saying "Yo WiThOuT tHaT AtTaCk SaNji/ZoRo woUldNt HaVe DefEaTeD QuEen/KiNg" so 1v1 would be better
